Insect Repellant Hacks

The days are getting longer and the air is getting warmer. That means more time spent outside soaking up the sun and enjoying the fresh air. That also means you’re more likely to come in contact with those dang insects. We try to avoid insect repellant with toxins, including DEET, so we typically just use the Young Living Insect Repellent. These insect repellent hacks make it easy peasy to take it on the go!

We love the Young Living Insect Repellent because it is formulated with essential oils that are recommended for their bug repellant properties. It’s made with naturally derived plant based ingredients. And, it does not contain dangerous things such as DEET, phthalates, synthetic colorants, parabens, fillers, petrochemicals, synthetic
fragrances, synthetic preservatives, or animal-derived ingredients. So it’s way better for you than what you can traditionally find in the stores. Don’t forget your body is your largest organ and absorbs so much of what we put on it. It comes in a big bottle, so we wanted to make it easier to apply and take on the go with these insect repellent hacks.

Insect Repellant Hack 1

The first insect repellent hack is to add 2 tsp of Young Living’s Insect Repellent to a 1 oz spray bottle, fill the rest of the way with water and you are good to go! Just spray as needed 🙂

Insect Repellant Hack 2

The second hack is to add the Young Living Insect Repellent to a 10ml roller bottle and roll on as desired.

You can find the Young Living Insect Repellent on the Young Living website. If you are already a member, add it to your next order. If you don’t want to pay retail price for the insect repellent you can grab yourself one of the starter kits and add this to your order and you get the discounted wholesale pricing. I recommend the Premium Starter Kit, but you can also grab the Basic Starter Kit and add the repellent. You can pick either of those options here.  As always, I’m always here to answer questions.
