I was volunteering in Daslyn’s class last Friday and the teacher said things have been rough because 7 kids were absent. I thought, “oh this should be easier on the teacher then!” But it wasn’t because everything was off balance with that many kids missing. 7 out of 24 kids y’all! That is roughly 29% of her class missing! So may kids are out of school and I would bet that if they had some more immune support there wouldn’t be as many kids absent (wink, wink). There’s some serious stuff going on!
I immediately thought that all these parents and kiddos need to be using essential oils. Like seriously, why isn’t everyone using essential oils?! Anyway, as soon as I got home, I marched my butt straight to my oil drawer and refilled my Immunity Roller. I must admit, things have been crazy around here since the holidays. I don’t always remember to apply the roller to the kids twice a day. Some days I forget all together. Oops! So, I refilled it and put it where I will be sure to see it every day. To make it easier, for future use, I went ahead and premixed these oils and stored them in an empty 15 ml essential oil bottle, so when I’m ready to fill my roller, I can just pull out the single preblended bottle instead of all the individual bottles.
This blend contains oils that help to support a healthy immune system. And without a healthy immune system you are more likely going to get sick from those germs being passed around so crazily.
Here is what I put in ours:
20 drops Lemon oil
10 drops each: Thieves oil, Oregano oil, Peppermint oil, Frankincense and Tea Tree (Mel A) oil
Add all of them to a 15 ml glass essential oil bottle. I just reuse one of my empty ones. Store the blend in this bottle. When you are ready to fill or refill your immunity roller add about 20 drops (use around 12 drops for little ones) of this blend to a 10ml roller bottle and top off with a carrier oil . I used this grapeseed oil.
Apply this to everyone at least 2x a day (during times when others around us are sick I do this one extra time if I think about it). You can apply to the bottoms of your feet and/or your spine. I like to just lift my kids shirt and roll it down their spine while they are eating breakfast and while they are brushing their teeth at night. They think it tickles hahaha.
Alright, that’s it for now.
Hope you are all able to try out this roller recipe! Let me know if you have any other favorite ways of helping to keep you and your families healthy especially during times like these!
